VECTOR MOTORS CORPORATION is creating the next generation Vector Hyper-Performance Road Vehicle (HPRV) code named Vector Avtech WX8. The design represents a significant technological and performance advancement and calculated departure from the previous W8 supercar designs. The new WX8 maintains Vector identity which differentiates the Vectors from all other supercars.
The Vector WX8 is powered by a 7.8 liter (478 cid) or 10.0 liter (600 cid) all aluminum big-block V8 engine. The powerplant is derived from “CanAm” road racing and offshore boat racing engines. This ultimate Vector incorporates twin supercharging or twin turbo-charging with a projected top speed capability of 275 MPH+ and power output of 1,400hp to over 2,000hp.The history of the Vector can be found at vectorsupercars. Events:
Two Vector WX3s make appearances at various Concours D’Elegance events such as the Quail Lodge motorsports gathering, the Monterey Historic Car Races, the Rodeo Drive Concours, the Newport Beach Concours the “Cars and Coffee” car show in Irvine, and various other high performances shows including the recent LA Auto Show. Vectors also make occasional
appearances at “Supercar Sunday” in Calabasas, California.
